GettyImages-1480919947Philadelphia, PA – July 31, 2024 – Yoh, a leading international talent and outsourcing company owned by Day & Zimmermann, was recently recognized by global research and advisory firm Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) on its 2024 list of the Largest Engineering Staffing Firms in the U.S. This placement follows additional rankings on SIA’s 2024 lists of the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S. and Largest Information Technology (IT) Staffing Firms in the U.S.

“When it comes to sourcing high-level, highly specific professionals, especially in a rapidly evolving sector like engineering, a consistent partner with the background and resources to produce top-notch talent is critical, no matter the state of the labor market. We’re delighted to be recognized as a market-leading engineering staffing firm and highlighted for our ongoing work connecting organizations with the technical talent they need to scale their operations and achieve sustained business growth,” said Emmett McGrath, President of Yoh. “For decades, we’ve paired our deep pool of specialty talent with cutting-edge, proprietary technology solutions to meet clients’ most demanding and complex staffing needs. Our placement on SIA’s ranking is a testament not only to the many ways we’ve delivered for clients over the years but also the trust our clients place in us day after day to support them at any stage on their talent acquisition journey.”

In total, SIA estimates that the 30 firms evaluated in its report generated a combined $7.4 billion in 2023, accounting for 78% of the total US engineering temporary staffing market. With an estimated $68 million in 2023 U.S. engineering temporary staffing revenue, Yoh controls a market share of approximately 0.7%, which is tied with one other firm. Market share percentages in SIA’s report were calculated by dividing each company’s revenue figure by $9.5 billion, the estimated total of all revenue generated by the U.S. engineering temporary staffing market in 2023.

For the purposes of this report, SIA defines “engineering temporary staffing” as the furnishing of temporary workers in engineering occupations. Typical occupations include mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial, petroleum, environmental, and process engineers. Software engineers are not included in this definition, as they are included in SIA’s definition of “IT temporary staffing.” The definition of IT temporary staffing revenue used by SIA aligns with the market size estimates produced in its most recent US Staffing Industry Forecast report, published in March 2024.
