Philadelphia, PA – July 23, 2024 – Yoh, a leading international talent and outsourcing company owned by Day & Zimmermann, was recently recognized by global research and advisory firm Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) on its 2024 list of the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S. This recognition also comes on the heels of Yoh’s recognition on SIA’s 2024 list of the Largest Information Technology (IT) Staffing Firms in the U.S.
“For nearly 100 years, Yoh has been providing our clients with the very best talent across a number of different industries. Now, in 2024, we are continuing to find and source high-performing talent aided by world-class technology, our best-in-class staff and proven processes that ensure we’re able to deliver for clients of all sizes time and time again,” said Emmett McGrath, president of Yoh. “We are thrilled to be recognized by SIA as one of the largest staffing firms in the U.S. because it’s a testament not only to the dedication we have to building the deepest talent pools but to fostering the trusted relationships we build with our clients. We are thankful for their support and partnership and look forward to continuing to help them meet their talent demands in what is arguably the most competitive talent marketplace we have ever seen.”
In their report, SIA evaluated the 241 firms that generated $100 million or more in U.S. revenue in 2023, which when added together combined for $142.5 billion in U.S. staffing revenue. Healthcare and IT temporary staffing were among the most common revenue segments. With an estimated $539 million in U.S. temporary staffing revenue, Yoh controls a market share of approximately 0.3 percent, which is tied with 16 other firms. Market share percentages in SIA’s report were calculated by dividing each company’s revenue figure by $191 billion, the total estimate for all revenue generated by U.S. temporary staffing – not just those evaluated in this report – in 2023.
For the purposes of this ranking, SIA defines “staffing” as revenue generated from the provision of temporary workers to business clients, as well as from “place & search” services (direct hire/ permanent placement and retained search). SIA also includes revenue from “temp-to-hire” conversions.
