Yoh’s latest 2013 workforce trends study finds that that 80 percent of major U.S. employers expect their 2013 hiring will meet or exceed their rate of hiring in 2012, but challenges remain. These include the political climate, poor planning and only remedial use of social media for recruiting.
Yoh’s annual workforce survey provides insight into the plans and attitudes of HR executives and hiring managers at large organizations. This year’s survey results found that while most companies may be hiring, that optimism is tempered by many factors. More troubling is the continued lack of planning and recruiting contingencies in place should hiring pick up.
