Community Impact Initiative ‘Yoh Gives Back’ Empowers Employees to Make a Difference in Local Communities
Ocean Grove, NJ – September 12, 2024 – At Yoh, a leading international talent and outsourcing company under Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), giving back is more than just a value—it's a movement. With teams spread across the country, Yoh empowers employees to actively support their communities through the Yoh Gives Back program, launched in early 2023. This initiative, combined with D&Z’s generous Gives Back funds-matching program, allows employees to make a greater impact by partnering with local nonprofits and providing crucial resources where they’re needed most.
Yoh Gives Back encourages employees to volunteer, donate, and raise funds for local causes. For fundraising events, Day & Zimmermann, Yoh’s parent company, matches a portion of the money raised through its enterprise-wide D&Z Gives Back program, further amplifying the efforts of Yoh’s team.
Most recently, employees from Yoh’s New Jersey and New York offices, along with the Fintech Specialty Practice, joined forces to raise $10,000 for Mary’s Place by the Sea, a wellness retreat for women with cancer located in Ocean Grove, NJ. On September 9th, the team presented a check and hosted a 2.5-mile walk-a-thon in support of Mary’s Place and its vital mission. Together, the Yoh employees raised $5,000, which was matched by Day & Zimmermann, bringing the total donation to $10,000.
“I’m incredibly proud of our employees and the meaningful work they’ve done through Yoh Gives Back,” said Emmett McGrath, President of Yoh. “Their dedication to making a positive impact in their local communities is inspiring. With our values of Integrity guiding us and support from the larger Day & Zimmermann organization, we’re always looking for new ways to support the causes that matter most across the country.”
