The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) wanted to build and deploy a new Trading Game, called the Stock Market Game (www.stockmarketgame.org) for Middle and High School level students to learn about how Wall Street, the markets, and trading works. The game allowed the students to form teams within schools to compete against each other and then move on to a national competition.

SIFMA engaged with Yoh Fintech to provide a team to analyze, design, develop, and implement the game. Yoh provided a contract team that worked under the direction of the SIFMA Product Manager and CTO to complete the project, launch the platform, and turn it over to the SIFMA support team to support, maintain, and run the competitions.

Yoh sourced and onboarded a team of 8 consultants including a Project Manager, Senior Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and testers that were all familiar with the construction and implementation of trading systems. This included integrating with Broadridge as the game’s backend. Yoh Fintech became a long-term software engineering and development partner of SIFMA providing consultants and perm hire to them over the span of 10 years.
