Urgent Notice: Job seekers Beware of Widespread Recruiting Scams
It has come to our attention that scammers are using our company name, and those of several recruiting companies, to impersonate staff, pose as former staff, or simply use a reputable company name to falsely offer jobs and collect personal information from job seekers. We are aware of text messages, email messages and other attempts, including direct phone calls. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS AND VIGILIENT WHEN RESPONDING AND ENGAGING IN ANY JOB OFFER OR HIRING COMMUNICATIONS.
Day & Zimmermann, Yoh and DZConneX employees, recruiters and talent acquisition specialists will ALWAYS use our company email domain names such as: @dayzim.com, @yoh.com, @dzconnex.com (in addition to other company brand names). We do not use generic, public “outlook,” “gmail,” “yahoo” or other non-company email domains to communicate with potential job seekers. We also do not send or request funds as part of the recruiting or hiring process.
These messages can seem realistic and include fake job advertisements on reputable social media sites or via text messaging. Please pay close attention to domain names that closely resemble official domains, spelling errors, and a short timeline or sense of urgency. Also note that in some cases they are using real names of current and former employees (at non-company email addresses).
If you are concerned about the legitimacy of a message or call you received, please contact the recruiter at the company email address or through official LinkedIn InMail to confirm. Insist on communications through official channels only and do not continue with the application process or provide personal information until this has been confirmed. Also, look for official job postings on company websites and official social media sites.
