Building_Contingent_Workforce_Business_Case-611449-edited.jpgBuying or implementing a contingent labor management program, or managed staffing program, is not easy. But it’s well worth it because as most contingent labor studies and analysts have shown, it can save you both time and money.

According to Staffing Industry Analysts, approximately 66% of companies they surveyed have a managed staffing program in place. And according to Aberdeen, companies who focus on contingent labor management and use an MSP, save more than 16% on their contingent labor spend, and realize 31% more savings than companies that do not.

So, there’s probably only one reason as to why you have not already engaged a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or started to manage the program by yourself: it feels like a big, “corporate” undertaking. Just identifying and managing your staffing suppliers can be like herding cats, but your real reason for a lack of MSP may be around gaining buy-in and getting your company to embrace a managed staffing program.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Managed Services

Well, we’re with you, and as luck would have it, with our new step-by-step MSP Buyer’s Guide, you can go at it at your own pace.

No matter the reason, you need a simple way to get the information you need to move forward. Rather than a long-winded novel, our buyer’s guide is simply a site that allows you to walk through the steps at your own pace to quickly and easily find the information you need.

So, if you just need to know “How to Sell MSP to Your Boss”, or “Tips to Build an MSP Business Case,” the key articles are there. Or, if you’re further down the path, there’s “Preparing for Implementation – What to Expect.” It’s all there, and many of the articles have other helpful links for further information.

An Overview of Managed Staffing

Yoh’s MSP Buyer’s Guide makes it easy to go at your own pace, but if you also need a great, general overview of MSP concepts and you’d rather watch and listen, you can always tune into our MSP Brass Tactics video.

These are all great resources to help you on your path to contingent labor management success. Knowing this information and how to properly set the stage can help realize substantial savings (and oh yes, don’t forget time savings, quality and hiring manager satisfaction).

So take a look at Yoh’s MSP Buyer’s guide web page and as always, let us know if you have any questions. A contingent labor management program is a big deal, but it doesn’t have to feel that way. Step-by-step is the way to go.
